This work opens a window to explore the human connection with technology, and how algorithms take center stage in this evolution.
Through a game of checkers, we represent the interaction we establish with the machine, playing with its moves and unpredictable reactions. We confront the phenomenon of randomness, as the algorithm feeds on random inputs, challenging us at every step and pushing us beyond our limits. In this process, we feel blind luck in our hand, symbolized by the four-leaf clovers growing around the character.
The piece aims to create a symbolic and meaningful framework with a bizarre tone; the algorithm is constantly learning and adapting to us, leading us to a state of symbiosis. The digital integrates into the human, creating a symbiotic whole where the boundaries between the biological and the technological blur.
As the algorithm advances, we find ourselves increasingly immersed in this hybrid world, where our actions influence technology and vice versa. We become an extension of the machine, and the machine becomes an extension of ourselves. This work invites us to reflect on our human-technological relationship and how it is transforming our identity and our way of interacting with the world around us.
